Assemblage

Some assemblage boxes have become almost static stage settings—objects are added to create an altered visceral, yet mysterious context. Some mixed media boxes even tell small, intimate stories. I view some of these pieces as collage in three dimensions as I work to develop the extent of this space into an abstract composition. I want these varied mixed media constructions to excite the curiosity of the viewer.
